Coq Hardi is a blonde beer with character and a mild bitterness, hailing from the heart of northern France. The brewery was founded in Lille in 1894 and has embodied the spirit of the region ever since: the warm, friendly atmosphere of the homeland of the “Ch’ti”. After Haacht Brewery acquired Coq Hardi in 1972, the brewery in Boortmeerbeek has continued to brew this beer with passion and craftsmanship. And the rooster, the symbol of the brand, still proudly watches over the original recipe.
